Most of these execs also have the belief that negative reactions to these poor products are just blemishes that they can recover from easily (Can't really say they are wrong, there's so much gaming news that people forget easily). They don't care much about the company's long-term. You really don't think this is going to cost you money in the long run?Ī lot of times these decisions are made by execs who have bonuses attached to hitting certain targets (Profit, Revenue, Sales, Growth), they rush out products to hit the targets so they can get their bonuses.
